UC Law SF alumni are invited back to campus this spring – for the first time in two years – for a week of celebration and class reunions during the college’s inaugural Spring Week taking place May 9-14.

“Our new Spring Week initiative is designed to offer something for everyone,” said Executive Director of the UC Law SF Alumni Association Meredith Jaggard “While I’m personally most excited about the Giants event and the Reunion Jazz Brunch, we are hosting a virtual CLE and Alumni Town Hall events, as well as in-person campus tours and a recent alumni party. Our goal is to create a signature week of connection and celebration for our law school community around which annual traditions can be built.”

During the last two years, pandemic restrictions forced alumni celebration events to exclusively virtual platforms. This year, however, alumni are invited to visit the UC Law SF campus to experience firsthand the many renovations and improvements, including a tour of our newest building, the Cotchett Law Center at 333 Golden Gate Avenue. Campus visitors will also get a glimpse of the 14-story structure being built at 198 McAllister, site of the now demolished Snodgrass Hall.

There are several special activities taking place during Spring Week:

  • May 9 – UC Law SF Chancellor & Dean David Faigman will host a virtual town hall.
  • May 10 – Alumni are invited to Oracle Park for a San Francisco Giants game. Tickets include entry to Triples Alley along right field, unlimited food and drink at the pre-game reception, and a seat in a Lower Box section of the ballpark.
  • May 12 – Practicing attorneys can take part in a CLE put on in partnership with Fenwick & West
  • May 13 – Recent Alumni are invited to campus for a cocktail reception.

On Saturday, May 14, Spring Week culminates with a festive Reunion Jazz Brunch, honoring alumni from the classes of 1967, 1972, 1997, 2012, and 2017. Since some reunions were postponed during the pandemic, students from the classes of 1960, 1965, 1970 also are invited to the jazz brunch, as are alumni whose graduation years end in a 1 or 6. Guests will enjoy San Francisco’s beautiful spring weather on and around the school’s incredible new outdoor campus spaces.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our esteemed alumni back to campus so they can experience our amazing new facilities and enjoy reconnecting with friends and colleagues,” said Chancellor & Dean David Faigman.
