On April 16, 2022, the Center for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution (CNDR) hosted a hybrid mock negotiation competition event for students here on our campus.

In order to give 1L and 2L students a sneak peak into joining the ADR Team, the Team Board and it’s Director, Professor Clint Waasted, set up two rounds of negotiation problems for students and current Team members to compete as pairs in a half-day mock competition. Alumni joined as judges, and provided individualized feedback to each competition group. Lunch time provided an opportunity for socializing and soaking up the sun on the Sky Deck overlooking SF City Hall. CNDR wishes a big congratulations to the competition winners Ariel Kahn (2L) and Kamya Arora (2L)!

UC Law SF’ specialty programs are ranked highly nationwide.

In a year, where some competitions were moved online, and others cancelled, an additional event was a welcome opportunity for the Team to flex their skills, and welcome potential future team members into the CNDR community.

A big thank you to CNDR’s staff, Professor Waasted, the ADR Team Board, and our alumni for bringing the event together!
