Consortium Advisory Board: Call for Applications

The UCSF-UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy invites applications for its advisory board. Consortium Advisory Board members serve 2-year terms and provide collaborative consultation, input and advice to the Consortium Executive Director and core Consortium staff on the strategic direction and programs of the UCSF-UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy. CAB members also spearhead the community and capacity-building work of the Consortium by proactively connecting threads and resources of the community together, deepening relationships, and broadening networks.

The Consortium Advisory Board is comprised of the following 12 members:

1. Three (3) UCSF Faculty Members, here defined as inclusive of individuals with any level of faculty appointment and/or non-faculty PI-Eligible Research Staff and/or other campus leaders with comparable status, such as UCSF Health clinical and administrative leadership.
2. Three (3) UC Law Faculty Members, here defined as inclusive of individuals with any level of faculty appointment and/or non-faculty, PI-Eligible Research Staff and/or other campus leaders with comparable status.
3. One (1) Current or Former UCSF student, learner, or trainee
4. One (1) Current or Former UC Law SF student, learner, or trainee
5. One (1) Current or Former UCSF-UC Law SF HPL student
6. Three (3) Community Members, defined as individuals who are representative of the communities impacted by current or prospective Consortium research and policy initiatives.

We are currently recruiting for the following open slots only. All other slots are filled:

• 1 UCSF Faculty member (defined above)
• 1 Current or Former UCSF student, learner, or trainee

CAB members attend quarterly meetings of approximately two hours each and will be asked to engage in collaborative consultation between meetings. CAB members receive $1,000 each year for two years in honorarium (totaling $2,000). At least one meeting per year is held in person at UC Law SF and food is provided. We cannot offer travel reimbursement.

Interested individuals can apply by submitting an application via email to Rachel Blanchard, Project Coordinator, at blanchardrachel@uclawsf.edu. Applications must be submitted no later than March 31^st at midnight to be considered.

Applications will be reviewed in April. Successful applicants will be contacted for a brief interview. Final decisions will be announced in May, with new Board terms starting in July.
