Bio
Beatrice Goddu joined C4i as Editorial & Research Manager in July 2025. She previously fact-checked at Harper’s Magazine and was an editorial fellow at The Yale Review. She has edited and ghostwritten books, humanities scholarship, and editorials across a wide range of topics for academics and prominent professionals. She’s passionate about addressing challenges to democracies worldwide through research and clear writing.
Beatrice obtained a B.A. in English & Creative Writing with distinction from Yale College and was awarded the Paul Mellon Fellowship to pursue graduate studies in the UK. During her M.Phil in English at Cambridge, she studied the emergence of literary modernism. Her scholarship has intertwined literature, history, and political theory, examining how the written word both shapes and reflects political and economic realities.
A student of languages, she speaks at least a decent amount of English, French, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew, and reads Latin. Outside of work she enjoys reading anything of great length.
