Bio
Wendy is excited to return to teaching Legal Research and Writing at UC Law SF following a 4.5 year break during which Wendy clerked for multiple magistrate judges on the United States District Courts for the Northern District of California and the Western District of Washington. Most recently, Wendy clerked for a district court judge on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Prior to her most recent judicial clerkships, Wendy taught Legal Research and Writing at UC Law SF for sixteen years both as a full-time Professor of Practice and as an adjunct Professor of Practice. During that time, Wendy also served as a career law clerk for twelve years for a district court judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to her career clerkship, Wendy practiced at a local mid-size law firm and also clerked for a United States Bankruptcy Judge and for a state appellate court.
Wendy graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1998. When she is not working, Wendy spends her time chauffeuring her middle school children and looking for new outdoor adventures.
