Shamira Dwarica served as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of Justice, where she litigated civil matters in federal court. She previously clerked for the Honorable Laurel Beeler in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Earlier in her career, she handled healthcare regulatory and litigation matters at Nelson Hardiman (now Leech Tischman), where she advised and defended clients. Shamira holds a J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and is admitted to practice in California.
