Racial Boundaries of Citizenship

September 10 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

The Supreme Court may have paused debate over whether the birthright citizenship clause applies to immigrant families. But the battle over citizenship can also be seen in the contested racial boundaries for naturalization and denaturalization. Legal experts from academia and practice will engage in candid discussion about how race shapes the acquisition, retention, and extinction of citizenship in these tumultuous times. Featured guest: Sandra Wong, Wong Kim Ark descendent.
