Bio
Beth H. Parker is currently General Counsel, Planned Parenthood California Central Coast. Over the past ten years, she has served as General Counsel for three California Planned Parenthood affiliates and Chief Legal Counsel for Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California. Planned Parenthood handles more than 1 million patients visits annually in California through more than 100 health centers. Before joining Planned Parenthood, Beth was a partner at Arnold & Porter, Bingham McCutchen and McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen in San Francisco. She practiced complex civil and constitutional litigation and served as a mediator for the U.S. District Court. Among other high-profile matters, while in private practice, Beth litigated more than twenty reproductive rights cases.
Beth is a graduate of Harvard Law School (JD) and Yale University (BA, magna cum laude, Honors in Major Architecture and Urban Studies). In her free time, she enjoys hiking and gardening in Point Reyes. She currently serves on the Boards of the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, and Community Boards of San Francisco.
