Erin Poppler '09

Bio
Erin Poppler ’09 joined the Foundation Board of Trustees in 2024 and has served on the Goals & Objectives Committee, contributing to the Board’s strategic planning and governance initiatives. Effective July 1, 2026, she will serve as Secretary of the Foundation Board of Trustees. In addition to her governance work, Erin has taken a particular interest in student engagement and the College’s role as a community partner in the Tenderloin. She has also championed opportunities to build campus community, including the possibility of hosting an alumni and student basketball tournament once the recreation facilities at 100 McAllister are completed.
Erin is an environmental litigator and Chair of GHB’s Environmental Practice Group. She graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Rhetoric and Political Science. While at UC Law SF, she served as an editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly and was recognized for her pro bono legal work. She also serves as Co-Chair of the National Association of Women Lawyers Environmental & Energy Law Affinity Group and is a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel. Erin has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for her work in environmental litigation.
