Headshot of Hannah Rabkin

Hannah Rabkin

Adjunct Professor of Law

Bio

Hannah went to law school expecting to become a litigator, but during a one-year federal clerkship became fascinated by the inner workings of the judicial branch–an interest that was only somewhat influenced by the fact that Hannah was clerking in the District of Hawaii. Hannah spent the next three years doing complex civil litigation in a large SF firm before landing as judicial staff attorney at the California First District Court of Appeal. Hannah has been there for over 30 years, primarily analyzing appeals and motions and drafting dispositive opinions and orders in conjunction with the justices Hannah works with.
