Isabel Gormley

Bio

Isabel joined the Center for Innovation as a Research Manager in July 2025. She graduated from Stanford University in 2024 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Human Rights and Data Science. She continued her studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, earning a M.Sc. in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies. Throughout her academic career, Isabel has pursued research at the intersection of emerging technologies, international law, and information dynamics, with a particular interest in how digital platforms and technological change shape the ways societies communicate, deliberate, and govern.

Isabel was previously a competitive swimmer, representing the United States internationally and Stanford University in collegiate competition. These days, she is decidedly less competitive and enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking and free diving.
