Bio
Professor Bender will be joining UC Law SF in the Fall 2025 term to co-teach Mergers and Acquisitions with Professor David A. Lipkin.
Currently John is an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in which his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and venture-capital style minority investments.
John graduated from the University of Southern California, Gould Schol of Law (J.D.) and was the Editor-in-Chief of USC Gould’s Business Law Periodical. He completed his B.A. at UCLA.
