Bio

Karina Demirchyan is an Adjunct Professor at UC Law SF.

In her law practice, she works as Senior Counsel at Lozano Smith, where her practice focuses on advising school districts and public agencies on compliance with state and federal law, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the California Public Records Act.

She has a long-standing commitment to serving the public sector, having worked with several educational institutions and public agencies throughout her career. In law school, her legal internships included roles with the University of California Office of the General Counsel, Oakland Unified School District, and San Francisco Unified School District, where she contributed to legal research, policy drafting, and compliance initiatives.

Karina received her B.A. in Political Science and Russian Studies from UC San Diego and her J.D. from UC Law SF.
