Bio
Mara Greenwald is the Consortium Teaching Fellow with the UCSF-UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy.
Prior to joining the Consortium, Mara worked as an attorney on the Health Law Practice Group with Inland Counties Legal Services where she provided free legal representation to low-income seniors and families. Her work focused on obtaining and maintaining health benefits for clients and increasing access to high-quality health services. Mara represented health consumers in a broad range of cases covering topics including Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California, In-Home Supportive Services, and medical billing.
Mara earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she majored in Gender Studies and Global Health, and a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law.
