Miguel Zavala

Bio

Miguel Zavala was born in Moroleon, Guanajuato and immigrated to Salinas, California in 1996. Miguel is passionate about the future of the legal profession and is dedicated to supporting student success. Before joining Hastings, Miguel was a staff attorney at Centro Legal de la Raza, a legal services agency protecting and advancing the rights of low-income, immigrant, Black, and Latinx communities through bilingual legal representation, education, and advocacy. Miguel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2013, and his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2018. During his free time, Miguel enjoys tabletop games, powerlifting, reading, and painting.
