Bio

Since graduating from UC Law SF, Nicholas (“Nick”) Yoka ’16 has remained actively engaged with the college through alumni leadership, fundraising, and Foundation governance, helping strengthen connections between the College and its alumni community.

He joined the Foundation Board of Trustees in 2019 and has contributed in a variety of leadership roles, including service on the Social Engagement Committee, co-chairing the Fundraising Committee, and serving as Treasurer and ex officio Co-Chair of the Finance Committee. Effective July 1, 2026, he will serve as Vice President of the Foundation.

Nick is a trial attorney with Panish Shea Ravipudi LLP whose practice focuses on civil rights, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, and dangerous condition litigation. Raised in Pasadena, he earned a B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University and studied at St Anne’s College, Oxford. While at UC Law SF, he competed on the Moot Court Team, served as Senior Articles Editor of the Constitutional Law Quarterly, and interned for Congressman Adam Schiff. He has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and named to Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch.
