Sandra Plenski

Bio

Sandra has been at UC Law SF since June 2013. As Deputy CFO and Controller, her responsibilities include all aspects of accounting for UC Law SF, along with audit, budget, grants, payroll, purchasing, and student finance.

Sandra also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Hastings Campus Housing Finance Authority, a joint powers authority created for the purpose of bringing the Academic Village to life in the construction of two new buildings and the renovation of a third historic building on campus. Responsibilities include bond accounting and forecasting, communication with investors, investments, and finance for all capital projects.

Sandra’s previous career was based in three consumer packaged goods startups in the Bay Area. All three startups were eventually sold to established corporations. She has experience in venture capital, SOX auditing, and financial compliance.

Sandra has lived in the Bay Area since 2007. She hails from the Philadelphia suburbs and is a superfan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. She loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family and friends, especially her chihuahua mix named Bueller.
