Bio

Prior to joining UC Law SF, Dean of Students Tiffany Gabrielson served in successively more expansive student affairs roles at Stanford University since 2014, most recently as Director of the University-wide Office of Community Standards and Associate Dean for Students. Dean Gabrielson earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2010 and a Masters in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in student affairs from University of the Pacific in 2013. Over the past decade, she has also engaged in formal professional training as a coach and facilitator, and in intercultural competence, trauma-informed methods, and management. She has also been an active member of NASPA, the global student affairs administrators’ association, where she sat on the national board for the Administrators in Graduate and Professional Student Services Knowledge Community, and where she also served as an instructor for new student affairs administrators. In 2016, Dean Gabrielson was awarded the NASPA Knowledge and Community Achievement Award for Collaboration and Visibility. Dean Gabrielson’s goal is to proactively draw students into community, leading with empathy.
