Foundation Board of Trustees and Alumni Association Board of Governors welcome new leaders and members
At a pivotal moment for UC Law San Francisco, two of its alumni-led boards are welcoming new leaders and members to help guide the College’s future.
On June 13, UC Law SF’s Foundation Board of Trustees and Alumni Association Advisory Board of Governors selected a new slate of alumni to join their boards as well as usher in their new executive committees.
The UC Law San Francisco Foundation’s mission is “to advance the academic and reputational success of the College through collaborative and impactful fundraising initiatives.”
Board of Governors members serve as strategic partners and ambassadors for UC Law SF. Their mission is to enhance alumni engagement, support alumni association initiatives, and provide valuable insights to staff to advance the future of UC Law SF.
Foundation Board of Trustees
Charanjit (“Charan”) Brahma ’99 is the incoming president of the foundation board. He has served on the board since 2019, including as fundraising co-chair and a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining the foundation, he held multiple leadership roles on the Alumni Association Board of Governors, including president.
Charan is a partner at Benesch Law in San Francisco.
Nicholas (“Nick”) Yoka ’16 is the incoming vice president of the foundation. He joined the foundation board of trustees in 2019 and has contributed in a variety of leadership roles, including service on the Social Engagement Committee, co-chairing the Fundraising Committee, and serving as treasurer and ex officio co-chair of the Finance Committee.
Nick is a trial attorney with Panish Shea Ravipudi LLP in Los Angeles.
Jennifer Rappoport Colimon ’00 is the incoming second vice president of the foundation effective July 1, 2026. She co-founded the UC Law SF Austin Alumni Chapter and has supported the College through mock interview programs and other alumni initiatives. Jennifer has served on the Foundation Board of Trustees and its Nominating and Governance Committee and was elected to the Foundation Executive Committee in 2024.
Jennifer is a partner with Botkin Chiarello Calaf, PLLC in Austin, Texas.
Tracy Jolles Holland ’97 is the incoming third vice president of the foundation effective July 1, 2026. She has served on the Foundation Board of Trustees since 2014 and the foundation’s Executive Committee since 2020, including as foundation secretary from 2020 to 2026. She also co-chairs the foundation’s Nominating Committee.
Since 2021, Tracy and fellow trustee Jennifer Rappoport Colimon ’00 have led the Austin Alumni Chapter. She is also a Legacy Society member, a former Reunion Class Campaign Committee volunteer, and a supporter of the College through annual and planned giving.
Tracy is a legal consultant, mediator, and co-owner of All Hands Mediation Group LLC.
Erin Poppler ’09 is the incoming secretary of the foundation board effective July 1, 2026. She joined the Foundation Board of Trustees in 2024 and has served on the Goals & Objectives Committee, contributing to the board’s strategic planning and governance initiatives.
Erin is an environmental litigator and chair of GHB’s Environmental Practice Group.
Jeffrey (“Jeff”) Rosichan ’88 will serve as the treasurer of the foundation effective July 1, 2026. He joined the Foundation Board of Trustees in 2024 and helped spearhead the foundation’s $1 million Trustee Fundraising Challenge in 2025, which exceeded its original goal and continues to grow.
Most recently, he served as a managing director at Citibank, leading the firm’s West Coast Equity Capital Markets practice.
Leo P. Martinez ’78 has served UC Law San Francisco in numerous leadership roles over the course of his career as an alumnus, professor, administrator, and trustee. Most recently, he served as president of the Foundation Board of Trustees from 2024 to 2026. Upon completion of his term on June 30, 2026, he will transition to the role of immediate past president. In addition to his foundation service, he continues to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Governors.
Leo joined the faculty in 1985 and is a nationally recognized scholar in business and tax law, he is now professor emeritus at UC Law San Francisco.

Alumni Association Advisory Board of Governors
Catherine Ongiri ‘06 is the incoming president of the Board of Governors effective July 1, 2026. She joined the board in 2022. She is also the immediate vice president of the board. This year ear she was named recipient of the UC Law SF Black Alumni Council’s first ever Alumni of the Year Award.
Catherine is the program director for the Office of Professional Competence at the State Bar of California.
David Casarrubias-Gonzalez ‘18 is the incoming vice president of the Board of Governors effective July 1, 2026. He has served on the board since 2022. He is an adjunct professor teaching legal research & writing and civil appellate advocacy. David also serves as the co-leader of the San Francisco alumni chapter.
David is a partner at Hanson Bridgett.
Christina Terplan ‘03 is the incoming nominations chair of the Board of Governors effective July 1, 2026. She joined the board in 2023.
Christina is the founding partner of Atheria Law.
Kelly Woodruff ‘92 will be the immediate past president effective July 1, 2026. She has served the board since 2017. She is also a class agent for the Class of 1992.
Kelly is counsel at the Complex Appellate Litigation Group.

Trustee appointments are three-year terms. Executive committee members and officers serve two-year terms. Governors are elected for three-year terms.
