Melissa Hooper at the Guardrails of Democracy Conference
Executive Director Melissa Hooper joined the Guardrails of Democracy Conference at Harvard’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation on October 12. The event brought together academics and practitioners focused on democratic resilience to share strategies and discuss thorny issues of building support for rule of law among constituencies such as business leaders, law firms and lawyers, and law enforcement and the military. Melissa discussed her own work with judges with those studying resilient judiciaries across the globe. The Center looks forward to bringing some of these scholars and practitioners to California next year.
