The Chancellor & Dean’s Office collaborates with campus leaders and UC Law SF stakeholders to guide strategic initiatives and priorities for the College.

Chancellor & Dean
David Faigman is Chancellor & Dean and the John F. Digardi Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. He also holds an appointment as Professor in the School of Medicine (Dept. of Psychiatry) at the University of California, San Francisco. He received both his M.A. (Psychology) and J.D. from the University of Virginia. Professor Faigman clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Reavley, Senior Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Assistant Chancellor & Dean/Chief of Staff
Jenny Kwon advises the Chancellor & Dean on the administration of the campus and guides the implementation of college-wide strategic priorities, including developing partnerships and collaborations, managing government and tribal relations, and overseeing various DEI efforts. She completed her undergraduate work at UC Berkeley, received her Master’s in Education from Harvard University, her Master’s in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, and her Doctorate in Education from UC Davis.

Executive Assistant & Events Specialist
Kaytlyn Fleming supports the Chancellor & Dean’s Office, including managing office operations, scheduling and travel arrangements for both the Chancellor and Dean and Assistant Chancellor & Dean/Chief of Staff, overseeing office finances, and supporting various events for the College. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Jose State University, and is a novice photographer in her free time.
