On-Campus Interview (OCI) Programs

Employers are welcome to interview our students through our various OCI programs throughout the year. Each OCI program is designed to accommodate different recruiting timelines and we welcome employers to register for the OCI program that best aligns with their recruiting needs.

Applications for OCIs are collected through our online job board 12Twenty and interview schedules are coordinated by our office. Virtual interviews are conducted via Flo Recruit, Zoom, or 12Twenty Video and participation is free of charge.

2027 2L Summer Preview Program – Class of 2028

Shifts in the law student recruiting market have changed when and how legal employers begin recruiting law students for 2L summer positions, with many application periods opening as early as the fall semester of 1L year. To assist employers in recruiting 1Ls Class of 2028 for 2027 2L summer positions, we are hosting our preview program for law firms that would like to receive a packet of resumes and transcripts to supplement direct applications.

Program Details:

  • Students will submit their resume, transcript that includes first semester grades, and optional cover sheet that will outline practice area and/or office preferences.
  • Employers will select students and schedule screening interviews directly.
  • Employers will indicate selection status (selected or not selected) on 12Twenty by Fri 1/30/26 to ensure that all students are aware of their application status.
  • Participation is free of charge.

Program Timeline:

  • Employer Registration: Mon 11/3 12 PM PT – Thu 12/11 5 PM PT via 12Twenty
  • Student Application: Mon 12/15 12 PM PT – Fri 1/16/26 12 PM PT
  • Selection Status Available to Students on 12Twenty by Fri 1/30/26
  • Employers can begin scheduling interviews on Tue 1/20/26

Fall and Spring OCI Programs

Employers are welcome to conduct OCIs during the school year on a date that works best with their recruiting timeline. 100% of the candidates can be preselected for interviews and registration is free of charge. Semester OCIs are conducted virtually via Flo Recruit, Zoom, or 12Twenty Video.

Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the school year. To get started, email careers@uclawsf.edu.

Fall OCI Program

Employers can interview 2Ls and 3Ls for spring, summer, and/or post-grad placements. OCIs can be conducted on any business day in September and October.

Spring OCI Program

Employers can interview 2Ls and 3Ls for spring, summer, and/or post-grad placements while 1Ls can be interviewed for summer placements only. OCIs can be conducted on any business day in February and March.
