Bio

Emily Robin Griffith is an Attorney for the Office of Regional Counsel at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9. Her practice area centers on enforcement actions related to emergency response, accident prevention, and remedial cleanup of toxic chemicals under federal law. She is passionately involved in agency equity initiatives and serves on the regional environmental justice committee. Prior to joining the EPA, Emily worked in environmental policy and litigation in Washington DC. Her experience includes time with the DOJ Environmental Enforcement Section, the EPA Civil Rights division, the Environmental Working Group, the Center for International Environmental Law, and the Georgetown Climate Center. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2017. Prior to law school Emily worked in environmental education and nonprofit management. Born in California, Emily has always felt most connected to herself and the world while having various adventures in nature – from the coast to the Sierra, being home in the Bay has reinforced her draw towards open horizons and commitment to public service.
