Alumni Engagement Inquiries
Thank you for your interest in UC Law SF Alumni Events. If you are interested in hosting and/or promoting an alumni event, please fill out the form on the right. The information below outlines expectations and processes for hosting an alumni event. Please review carefully.
The Alumni Office can provide the following:
- Assistance with promoting your event on the UC Law SF website, social media channels, event calendar, and/or via email
- Invitation lists specific to your event region or target audience
- Suggestions on hosting a potential alumni event
As an organizer, you will be responsible for:
- Sharing the final list of attendees with the alumni office/staff liaison
- Saving and submitting all receipts (If you would like to receive Gift-in-Kind credit)
- Paying for and hosting the event (unless other arrangements have been made with alumni office)
If you would like to request an email to be sent to a group of alumni, please follow the instructions below.
Email Jenna Ingalls at ingallsjenna@uclawsf.edu to get started.
In your email, include:
- Copy of the message, including subject line and who the message should come from (e.g. UC Law SF, UC Law SF Events, or a specific group or center)
- Distribution group (e.g. all alumni, all Bay Area Alumni, class of ’97, etc.)
- Exact distribution date (please follow this format, MM/DD/YY)
- If you would like subsequent reminder emails to go out, please include the same information for the separate emails.
To ensure your email is sent when desired, all information should be submitted two weeks in advance. Emails are scheduled to maximize open rates, and if another email is already scheduled for your target distribution date and includes overlapping segments, it will be scheduled for a more effective date.
Once this information is submitted, here is what you can expect:
- Draft email sent to you within 2–3 business days. It is your responsibility to review this draft and make any additions or corrections.
- All emails are designed to comply with federal accessibility regulations. Your email may be edited to comply with these and other best practices.
- Date and time of email.
- After the email is sent, if you would like open/click rate please request.
- Additionally, if you would like a list of email address bounces, please request.
