Bio
Kai Kennedy, DPT is a physical therapist and educational researcher serving as an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Equity in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Kai has extensive experience addressing issues of health equity through the lens of a clinician educator. She works with partners to scale up rehabilitative care in underserved communities in the United States, the Caribbean, and West Africa, and has a keen interest in developing innovative curricular strategies that prepare clinicians to provide effective care in community-centered programs. She is a Senior Fellow in the Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity and faculty member in the Global Brain Health Institute.
