Summer Study
How to Fund Your
UC Law SF Summer Study
- Register for the classes with the Office of the Registrar.
- Submit to the Financial Aid office the Summer 2022 Financial Aid Application requesting financial aid to pay for the summer classes. The cost of attending the summer term will be added to your 2021-2022 aid package and you will be sent a revised award letter.
- Review, accept, sign and submit your revised award letter reflecting the summer term.
- If you were required to have an endorser for your current Grad-PLUS loan, you will need to apply for a new Grad-PLUS loan by having the endorser complete his/her endorsing part and you will have to fill out another Master Promissory Note.
Important: Please note that you must attend at least half-time (3 units per summer session) to receive a federal student loan. Any refund for living expenses has to be returned back to the lender if students do not attend, drop below 1/2 time or drop the class prior to the first day of the enrollment term.
Deadlines: UC Law SF students need to apply for Financial Aid at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of classes.
Living Budget: The living budget will be pro-rated based on the length of the class session.
Visiting Students: Please contact your home school about financial aid options.
