Keith Wingate Visiting Assistant Professor of Law (VAP) for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 academic years in the Center for Racial and Economic Justice (CREJ).  The VAP position is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position designed to support junior scholars, attorneys, or others interested in preparing for a career in legal teaching who intend to engage their research and teaching in the fields of racial and/or economic justice. The University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (“UC Law San Francisco,” formerly “UC Hastings”) seeks to hire an entry-level or lateral tenure-track or tenured faculty member to be a productive and impactful scholar and to establish and teach an in-house transactional clinic. As part of UC Law’s Community Justice Clinics, the clinic should serve disenfranchised and disempowered clients or communities while teaching students about the law, legal practice and the role of the law in the quest for social justice. The start date for the position is July 1, 2026. We are interested in applications from entry-level candidates and from professors with clinical teaching experience in the academy.

Bar Exam Supplemental Tutor Program (B.E.S.T) Essay Graders

The Bar Exam Supplemental Training (B.E.S.T.) Essay Tutor program is designed to provide graduates with an opportunity to receive substantive and structural feedback on multiple practice bar review essay and Performance Test answers. Between mid-May and the end of July, graduates may submit up to 10 bar exam essay or Performance Test answers for feedback and an approximate grade. To assist with the review process, the graders are provided with sample answers and/or rubrics.

Adjunct Faculty Positions
