UC Law alumni may access the Law Library anytime it is open. The Library also offers an annual membership program (July 1 – June 30) for alumni to allow members to borrow circulating print materials from the library’s general collection.

Accessing Library Databases

Alumni are welcome to use the Library’s computer terminals or personal devices to access the library’s Online Databases while on campus. Please note that some databases – including Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law – require individual logins and aren’t available to alumni.

Photocopying, Scanning, & Printing in the Library

Alumni who wish to use the library’s multipurpose Xerox machines to print, copy, or scan materials must make an appointment with the UC Law SF Business Center to make arrangements to obtain a code to use on the machines.  Contact information for the Business Center is here.

Reference Services

Alumni are encouraged to take advantage of the research librarians’ expertise! Feel free to call or email us with your research questions. The librarians can help you formulate your search strategy and point you toward relevant resources.  And don’t forget the wealth of information available on the Library website, including our research guides and links to free online resources.

Bar Study Materials

The library has prepared an online study guide with links to California bar exam questions organized by subject. We also have past California bar exams going back to the 1930’s, as well as bar study books and flashcards.
