A $300 Non-Refundable Enrollment Deposit is required to reserve your place in the 2L class. Submit your non-refundable deposit here by 3:00 PM PDT on July 12, 2024. You will need your UC Law SF student ID number, which was included in your acceptance email, to make your deposit. After you have submitted your deposit the Assistant Dean of Student Services, Miguel Zavala, will reach out to you for academic advising.
Your username will be the unique part of your UC Law SF email address (username@uclawsf.edu). It will also be your universal login to access important campus portals and will give you access to student discounts. Click here to begin the process. Please create your username and password by no later than 3:00 PM PDT on July 19, 2024. Please write down your username and password after you create it. Your email address will be activated within two days of filling out the form, but we will continue to send emails to your personal email address until the first day of orientation (Thursday, August 15, 2024!). Once your username is activated visit this page to log in to your UC Law SF email account.
If you would like to apply for a $6,500 need-based grant, please complete the UC Law SF Financial Aid Supplement as soon as possible. For those students planning to use federal loans, please add UC Law SF to your FAFSA. The UC Law FAFSA code is G03947. Note: you must create your UC Law SF username and password and have your UC Law SF email address activated before you can complete the Financial Aid Supplement.

Information about registering for Fall semester classes will be emailed to you during the week of July 15 – 19, 2024.
All incoming students will be issued an official UC Law SF Student ID. All students are required to show their Student ID to gain entry to the buildings on our campus, participate in Orientation activities, and sign in for classes. Please click here to submit your photo after you have created your UC Law SF username and password.
To finalize your acceptance, and if you have not already done so, please submit the following by July 19, 2024: (1) An official, electronic copy of your law school transcript including all of your courses and grades through the Spring 2024 semester; and (2) A letter of good standing sent to us directly from your current law school. Both documents should be emailed to admissions@uclawsf.edu. Please note that if we do not have these documents in hand by July 19, you may not be able to register for Fall 2024 classes in a timely manner.
The College partners with San Francisco-based Carbon Health to manage student health services. Shortly after you have paid the enrollment deposit, you will receive an email from Carbon Health asking you to create a Carbon Health account. Your account must be created by July 19, 2024. After you have created your account, you must submit the required New Student and HIPAA Authorization Forms and your vaccination records to the Carbon Health Portal, also by July 19, 2024.
The University of California requires all enrolled students to have health insurance coverage. Students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP) as part of your tuition fees. Students with proof of comparable health insurance may request a waiver from UC SHIP if they can demonstrate that their health insurance meets University of California’s minimum criteria. Students seeking a waiver must submit all documentation through Academic Health Plans (AHP). The waiver period for the 24-25 academic year opens on 6/21/24 and must be completed by no later than 8/31/24. Please visit this page for more information. If you have any questions about UC SHIP or the UC SHIP waiver process, please contact Student Health Services at HealthServicesHelp@uclawsf.edu.
All incoming transfer students will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on one of the College’s nine journal staffs via the Transfer Student Inter-Journal Writing Competition. Further information will be emailed to students around August 1.
Transfer Orientation is August 15, 2024. More information will be sent to you via email.
